The Legacy Centre tour begins with a brief introduction from a local tour guide and follows with a self guided tour. There are a number of interactive displays that allow you to listen to traditional Newfoundland stories or historical accounts from the area.

There is also an option to take in a tour of the local archeological dig site that is off-site. There is an extra charge of $6.00 per person for this service.

Interesting place for one of my stretching stops while driving around this East Coast island. Nice, bright, clean, modern facilities. Pleasant staff. Seem totally deserted, as it is in the middle of nowhere, but worth a visit if you are on this driving route.
